Program of Activities
Tuesday 21:
Brothers Reception by argentinian brothers at the variousair and/or sea terminals, and accompaniment to reserved accommodation. Inscription and presentation of badges to the brothers. Opening of the World Zafarrancho, Argentina 2006: Welcome & fellowship cocktail for all participants with a musical show.
Wednesday 22:
Working meetings for national officials in the morning & afternoon Tours of a whole or half day, morning & afternoon, for paticipants not taking part in working meetings (shopping, cultural and/or sightseeing). Night time Gala Function, musical theatre show in the city of Buenos Aires, presented for the Brotherhood of the Coast.
Thursday 23:
Working meeting in the morning, final conclusions. Tours of half a day, in the morning (shopping, cultural and/or sightseeing) Free afternoon Dinner with tango show, presented for the Brotherhood of the Coast.
Friday 24:
Whole day tour, visiting a town in the countryside of the Buenos Aires province. Guided tour of area surrounding the town, museums, typical food & show featuring folk music, mustang-taming & gaucho skills.
Saturday 25:
Whole day tour, sailing on the Río de la Plata & Parana River Delta, enjoying the unique natural flora & fauna. Whole day tour is optional. Closing of the World Zafarrancho Argentina 2006, Gran Boucan, dinner & party with musical show & dancing. Words from the National Captains, presentation of distinctions and/or gifts, announcement of the 7th World Zafarrancho 2010.
Sunday 26:
Goodbye toast, in the morning Accompaniment of the brothers to their respective departure points.
OPTIONAL:
Uruguayan Brotherhood of the Coast offers a program before the World Zafarrancho 2006 to get to know Uruguay, from Friday 17 to Monday 20 November 2006. (see following pages) Chilean Brotherhood of the Coast offers a program after the 2006 World Zafarrancho, to get to know Chile. Argentinean Brotherhood of the Coast offers programs to visit some of the sights in Argentina.

Program of Activities
Dear Brothers of the World!
Due to the World Zaf in Argentina in November 2006 we have received many inquiries about visiting Uruguay profiting from the 30 minutes proximity to Buenos Aries. We have therefore prepared the following program. It assumes arrival by November 17th and includes transportation in and out from the hotels. Breakfast is also included.
Friday 17;
Arrival and transfer to hotels. Evening welcome cocktails aboard V/E “CAPITAN MIRANDA” our sailing training vessel and ensign vessel of our Brotherhood. Transportation provided (Formal Brotherhood attire)
Saturday 18:
Depart for Punta del Este, our main summer resort. Reception by our Brothers of the Punta del Este Table and lunch in the Hotel Conrad. City tour in the area late afternoon and return to Montevideo (time 2h ) Free time after arrival.
Sunday 19:
City tour of Montevideo with English speaking guide. Optional lunch at the Port Market. Free time in the afternoon . Evening transportation to the main ZAF (Pirates Attire) in the premises of the Brotherhood of Montevideo Table, (Republic of Parva Domus Magna Quies). Transportation provided from hotels and return.
Monday 20:
Visit to Ciudad of Colonia across from Baires in the Uruguay River declared world historic monument (by UNESCO). Lunch, city tour, return in the afternoon, transportation provided (distance 170 km).-
Tuesday 21:
Transfer provided to sailing departure for Buenos Aires.

When buying your plane tickets try to include a Buenos Aires /Montevideo (this might be much cheaper or even free) AEROPARQUE-MONTEVIDEOAEROPARQUE (30 minutes Flight) (Aeroparque is the City Airport in Buenos Aires) Cost in economy class USD: 160.38 with Aerolíneas Argentinas Cost in economy class USD: 136.75 with Pluna To this you would have to add departure tax from Argentina of USD: 8.00 and from Montevideo USD: 13.00.
By boat: (Catamaran)

Some of you have had problems with the Tortuga Post. The following is the schedule for 2006 World Zaf and the pre-Zaf program in Uruguay. There should be more information on hotels in Buenos Aires coming out soon, but at least this gives everyone the dates and schedule.
