"Dear brothers,
In this time of spammers, hackers, and virus writers, the procedure to access the YahooGroups sites seems sometimes a little complicated, but it is required to maintain the security of those sites.
I receive requests from brothers who have already been added by me to the list of members under their usual email address to accept them under a Yahoo address. Obviously, I will always accept those requests as long as I know that they come from legitimate brothers. However, it makes my task of maintaining the email list a little more time consuming when I have to cross check several addresses for the same brother.
A Yahoo address is NOT needed to access the sites. What is needed is a Yahoo ID and password (which unfortunately automatically comes with a yahoo email address). Once you have gotten your Yahoo ID and password, you need to verify your usual email address to link it to the YahooGroup site. To do this, go to the site, click on help, then click on "How do I verify my email address ?" and then follow the instructions.
If my frenglish explanations are not clear enough, please do not hesitate to call on me and I will try and help you best I can.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Orza ! "
